Envelope Book - AVSC

Envelope Book created with the kit from Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft..
Hi all, I love these little envelopes so I thought I would make a little book with them to show off the wonderful quotes with the paper.
I simply traced around one of the opened envelopes and cut a cover and back from the gorgeous paper in the kit..

Cover opened to show the first envelope... I really love these envelopes so much
that I didn't want any thing to cover them up..

I fussy cut the tent and painted it with dimensional magic..

The back of the book, as you can see I inked around all the paper
edges to give it some dimension..

The tag quotes I made are 2  3/4 inch x 3 1/8 inch..

Have you noticed I used the stencil with the paint (from the kit) for each tag..

I fussy cut each quote and also a number.. Love this washie tape
from Aunty Vera.

A few bling and some pearl paint (from Aunty Vera) is all
you need for number 4.

A bit of glitter makes number 5 sparkle..

Following the theme through all of the quote cards
using stencil and paint  and of course a peach border
finished this one.

Count the stars has lots of sparkle and works wonderful
with this background paper.

Number 8 has lots of shine and pearl paint in the flowers
make this pretty..

Love this little book with all the quotes..

These envelopes are just to darn gorgeous..

I hope I have inspired you to create Glorious things..

Gift Card Tutorial

There are a lot of people in my family and as they get older I find it harder to buy for them.  I have now decided to give gift cards instead and to do that I make gift card holders to suit the person I am giving it to..  This one is for my son who loves cars and machinery and dirt and grease, (all the things that create stains on clothing lol).

** All the components of the gift card are in inches..

Cut a piece of black cardstock at 5 3/8 inch x 5 inch. Score at 2 3/4 inch, move cardstock over 1/8 inch and score again. ( Hint: This works well if you have something like a score pal). Turn cardstock and score at 3 3/4 inch.  Punch a border along this side and cut out the right hand section as shown below..

Adhere a piece of Mister Fox paper to the inside of the gift card and placing liquid adhesive (I use Tombow) to the two sides of the flap as shown..

Die cut a label from white cardstock, stamp your sentiment; add a cog to the label and a fussy cut number plate on the flap..

Adhere a piece of ribbon to the front of the gift card and add the gift card ..

Cut 1 piece of white cardstock at 2 3/8 inches x 3 1/2 inches and adhere to the front of the gift card (covering the ribbon). Cut 1 piece of Mister Fox paper at 2 1/4 inch x 3 1/4 inch and adhere on the white cardstock.  Decorate with cogs and fussy cut embellishments. Tie the ribbon to make a bow for closure..

Dress Paper Clip Art Tutorial

I love Paper Clip Art, there are so many things you can create with a paper clip.. I created these dresses for my paper clips.. So easy to make and fun as well..

Die cut 2 dress forms from cardboard, 1 from green Bazzill and 1 from Vintage Rose Garden.

As you can see here a 3 inch paper clip is much larger than the normal 50cm.

Ink around all edges as shown with Tattered Rose ink both sides of each dress form.

Adhere the paper clip with strong glue and place 3D Foam tape as shown. Adhere the 2 cardstock pieces together.

Adhere the Vintage Rose Garden dress form and the green Bazzill on the back as shown.

Decorate as desired. I added a piece of lace and ribbon around the waist then tied a bow. I fussy cut the word 'love' and using 3D foam tape adhered to the front of the dress. A bling finishes it off nicely.

I loved these three dress clips so much I made a box to place them in.. Looks wonderful doesn't it...

Three other dress paper clip art forms..
