Christmas Advent Calendar
I love this paper from Bo Bunny and it seemed to be perfect for this chipboard advent calendar from Kaiser.. The santa on top lights up and is perfect for this display.
I made lots of material patchwork balls and hearts to hang on the tree this year.
Don't you love these two boxes. I am going to have them on my table on Christmas day with candy canes in one and mints in the other..
Just some of the things already completed for this Christmas..
This is my 'I' book all about me..
The tags headings I chose were- I am, I want, I love, I smile, I like, I love..
I chose these heading because I wanted a record of my thoughts and feelings
at this time..
I included photos of my family whom I love dearly..
A toilet roll book I created with some of my recipes. I think this turned out really well, I enjoyed making this little book...
The tags I decorated in a light ink so I could write over them..
Each page I made different with lots of little tags and pages folded out..
I printed the recipes out then adhered them to the pages..
I chose all my family recipes..
A little house I created. I used an old book cover for the roof and lots of Mr Tim Holtz dies.
I placed this on my Christmas table and filled it with napkins..
I used panels from the Tim Holtz paper stacks to decorate the roof.
Lots of glitter, crackle paint and dimensional paint helped this come together..
Three canvas art works I created for my granddaughter Astaria..
I paper pierced the dresses for all three canvases.
I made the three of them on an angle so they could be hung on the wall
in assorted ways that my daughter chooses..
Two Steampunk bookmarks I created. I so love doing this style...
A box book.. I made two pages which are albums, I am as yet to fill.
Inside the cover of the book.
The 'pages' come out of the box.
The pages open to reveal photo albums.
I made this album horizontal..
This album I made vertical..
I included lots of tags to journal with..
the album opened to place my photos in.
Each page I made different.
I created this Tim Tam owl box for a swap, I think he is rather cute.
I even placed a Tim Tam inside of the box. I guess If I get hungry up in my studio I can eat it..
I made this card holder to place my business cards in..
I just love how these boxes turned out..
I made these wonderful flowers to showcase the boxes.
I made a chunky card to place inside the boxes.
I love these secret boxes.. The pink one I made for my granddaughter Astaria when she was still in her mothers tummy. I filled it with little notes and envelopes for when she is older..
Halloween, not something I do. A friend of mine asked me to make something for her party table so I made little cookie holders..
A canvas I enjoyed making with lots of texture and paints..
